How should I prepare my skin before my appointment?

Please shower before your appointment if possible. The skin should be clean and completely dry before waxing. Avoid applying any oils, creams, lotions, deodorants or other products to the area before your appointment, as this can affect the waxing process. For Intimate waxing, I provide a gentle intimate wipe before your treatment to use. If you are unable to shower immediately before your appointment, please use the bathroom beforehand and freshen up as much as possible. Good hygiene is extremely important. I always maintain high standards of cleanliness and require the treatment area to be clean before starting your appointment. If I feel like the area is not suitable for treatment, we might need to reschedule your appointment.

How long the hair have to be to get waxed?

if you have been shaving or used a depilatory cream, 3 full weeks after

your last shave or cream application. This will allow me to give you

the best results.

Should I trim the hair if it is too long?

Please Do Not Trim. In most cases the hair is never too long. If this is the case I will trim it prior to the treatment but you do not need to worry about the hair length at all.

How long should I wait in between waxes?

If you have just started your waxing journey I suggest you to book every 4 weeks for the first months. There is a little work to be done in order for you to achieve the smoothness you desire. You will first need to get into a good routine so that the hair cycle can sync. It will take a few treatments to be able to catch all the hair from the root and the first couple of treatments might not be perfect but.... Better late that Never! Trust me it will be worth it!!!

You must be 18 years or older to book an intimate waxing treatment. Valid photo Id may be requested when you arrive. Your comfort, privacy and safety are my priority and all treatments are carried out professionally in a respectful and confidential environment.  Please Note: The age requirement applies to Intimate Waxing only. I do not provide any treatments for clients under the age of 16. If you are 16 or 17 years old and are interested in a Non-Intimate waxing treatment (such as legs underarms, eyebrows etc) please get in touch before booking to discuss your treatment.

How old do I need to be to book an Intimate waxing appointment?

Absolutely! Waxing is considered safe during pregnancy. However, as a precaution, I do not perform waxing treatments during the first trimester. (the first 12 weeks) After the first trimester you can plan few appointments until the very last minute before the due date. Please note that hormonal changes can make your skin more sensitive and you might experience slightly more discomfort than usual. If you are feeling a little nervous, you think you might need breaks or a little bit of extra care and time during your treatment, there is the option to add the "Extra time/comfort" add-on. This add-on is designed for all clients who might require additional time and to ensure an unhurried experience.

Can I have a Wax during Pregnancy?
Does Waxing Hurt?

I am always honest with my clients. Waxing is not completely painless, especially if this is your first time. However, the discomfort is usually very brief and gets easier with every appointment. the good news is that with regular waxing, many clients find that the treatment becomes more comfortable over time. The hair often grows back finer, sparser and softer, making future appointments easier. Following the correct aftercare advice and avoiding shaving or hair removal creams in between appointments will help you achieve the best long-term results.

Should I take a pain reliever before my wax?

Personally  I do not think it makes any difference and I won't suggest to take any medication. However, some clients find that taking a pain reliever 45min/1 hour before their appointment, can help reduce discomfort. Please avoid alchool or excessive caffeine as they can increase skin sensitivity.

How do I book an appointment?

Booking your appointment is easy! Simply click the Book Now button on my website, or use the booking link on my Instagram or Facebook page. If you have any questions before booking, please feel free to get in touch.

Do I need a patch test before my tinting treatment?

Yes, a patch test is required at least 48 hours before your first tinting treatment to ensure you do not have any reaction to the product used. You can book your patch test online yourself through my booking system. Even if you had your eyebrows tinting elsewhere, I still require a patch test with me before your treatment. If you are an existing client and have had a patch test with me before but you have not had a tinting treatment for 6 months or longer, a New patch test will be required before your next appointment. No tinting treatments can be carried out without a valid patch test.

Can I keep my underwear on during my Intimate wax?

For intimate waxing, underwear will need to be removed to allow safe and effective treatment of the area. Your comfort and privacy are always my priority, and I will guide you through the process and ensure you feel as relaxed as possible throughout your appointment.

Can I get waxed before my Holiday?

Yes, waxing is a great option before you go on holiday, but if you are new to waxing or don't wax regularly, I recommend having a few waxing appointments before an important holiday or event for the best results. For your holiday wax I recommend having your treatment 48 hours before travelling or spending time in the sun, giving your skin time to settle before swimming, sunbathing or other activities.

Can I wax while I'm on my period?

Yes, absolutely! You do not need to cancel your appointment simply because you are on your period. You can still have any waxing treatment, including intimate waxing. You may feel a little more sensitive than usual, but this is completely normal. For hygiene, please use the bathroom  before your treatment and wear a fresh tampon or menstrual cup.  Of course, if you are experiencing severe cramps or feel too unwell for your appointment, please listen to your body.  If you need to cancel or reschedule, please remember that my cancellation policy still applies.  I kindly ask that you give me as much notice as possible, as your appointment time has been reserved especially for you.

Can I wax if I use retinol or skincare acids such as aha/bha?

No if you are currently using these product on the area being waxed. Retinol, aha, bha and other exfoliating products can make the skin more sensitive and increase the risk of skin lifting during waxing. If you use these products on the area being waxed, please stop using them 7-10 days before your appointment to give your skin time to recover.

What should I do after my wax appointment?

After your wax, your skin may be a little sensitive or red, this is completely normal. For the first 24-48 hours I recommend avoiding:

Hot baths, showers, saunas and steam rooms

Swimming, sunbathing or tanning

Intense exercise and excessive sweating

Tight clothing, perfumed products or deodorant on the waxed area.

Keep the skin clean, moisturised and allow your skin to breathe. Be more careful and avoid anything that causes irritation.
